Four years later...

Well, we have made it...made it through our 4th year of marriage that is. :) There have been a few ups and downs in the last year, but things have been pretty great. I love Adam so much more than I ever thought I could love someone. I've been very blessed to have him in my life.

So, this year for our anniversary we went to North KC to visit the towns of Parkville and Weston (only a few weeks after the fact). :) It was a nice to get away with Adam for a weekend. But, I was kind of disappointed with the 2 towns; a couple of the places I wanted to visit were shut down. :( And there weren't as many things to see and do as I had hoped. The night we got there, we got lost and couldn't find the hotel (bad internet directions). And then the next morning was kind of the same story. However, by Sunday, we were able to finally get our bearings and have a nice time. We went out to eat and Olive Garden, Chipotle, and Famous Dave's - all VERY good. I love eating out! :) Hehe.

In other news, Elam just turned 1!!!! I can't believe that little guy is that big already! He is pretty much walking, at least when he feels like it. :) He'll walk about 4-5 ft and then he's done. :) I love him to death! He's absolutely adorable.

Not too much else going on. Work is going pretty well; we had a little upheavel of sorts, but it's smoothed out and it's going good now. I got my very first Christmas bonus this year, which was very exciting. :) Any money given to me w/out me having to work for it is always great. Not that I mind working or anything, but ya know. :)

Well, January is just about over with - which is crazy! It seems like this year just started. And for those of you not living in the four states, it ended with a bang. We got about 2 inches or so of snow, after getting an ice/sleet mixture, so it was pretty exciting around here for a couple days. I kind of wish I had a job where we got snow days - I was kind of jealous of some of my family who had 2 days off of school/work. Oh well. :)

Hope you all have had a great start to 2009. That's about all I know right now. Have a great night! :)
