So it's Saturday night, and I should totally be in bed, but alas I am not. I can't seem to shut down right now. Part of that may be that I just dyed my hair (trying to get it back to it's "natural" color), so it has that "just dyed" smell. And I also decided to cut it. The color didn't turn out like I thought it would - to which I am very disappointed. I know I have gotten this same color before, but it didn't work this time. So now it it all the same yuck color. Hooray! And I decided that I would try the "sweep" bangs again, and I'm not sure they turned out how I wanted them to, either. Blah. Oh well, hair grows back, right? It needed a trim for sure anyway.
I'm so excited for Fall. I LOOOOVVVVEEE this weather we've been having along with the season change. It's absolutely perfect and I would love it if it were like this all year round (as long as the water would warm up during the day enough to swim in). :)
Work is going great. I love it there. The girls are a lot of fun to work with and it's a pretty low stress job (unless you give a guy $300 too much money because you didn't put the check in right - then it can get a little stressful - stupid Saturday; I hadn't been off in my drawer until I had to work and then I was $.10 at the end of the day and then on Monday I found out about the other; ugh). I'm being given more responsibilities, which is awesome. And for all those out there who are worried about this crisis we're having right now, CNB is doing just fine. :)
Since this job is full-time, it has the great benefits that come with that, one of which is health insurance. They have a great plan, don't get me wrong, but Adam and my health insurance is actually better, so since I didn't take the work health insurance, they give me an extra $132/month (after 60 days, I think). So, because of that, we've decided to add dental to our health policy. Ick. The dentist. Needless to say, I went the other day for a check - up and left wishing I hadn't gone. I take care of my teeth, seriously. Ask Adam how big a stickler I am about brushing teeth, so when I found out I have like 3 cavities (2 of which are "surface" ones and not too big a deal and then this other 1 that is not good at all; long story short, it could end up with root canal or crown - I am praying that what they want to do to it first works!!!), and 1 other tooth with something going on with it, though I'm not sure what, I was very disappointed. I go back on the 13th of this month to get all of them worked on. Again, ick. Thankfully the bank is closed that day (it's Columbus Day!) and I don't have to worry about missing any work for it. I also scheduled a chiropractor appointment after it to have my feet checked out, since they are still bothering me. Geez, I feel like I am falling apart, and we don't even have kids yet!! :0
