Can't Imagine Life without Her!

We have even so blessed. We have an amazing little girl. Seriously. God gave us so much more than we deserve when He gave her to us! She continues to amaze us every.single.day! She sings {all the time and everywhere!}, she plays, she laughs and giggles and she {almost} always has a smile on her face. :) She loves playing with her baby dolls and helping me cook. She's beginning to use the potty, which is super exciting! :) She's also really beginning to get her alphabet down and can almost count to 10 in English and Chinese.

Yes, we have days where she has the ability to drive is nuts because she's not listening or she is being over-the-top Miss Independent, but a little bit later she's back to her happy-go-lucky self. :)

We've been working with her hard over the last month on getting her to fall asleep in her bed by herself and ultimately, without us being in her room. She's doing great! By the end of last week (after only a week of trying to have her go to sleep by herself in her room), she was falling asleep within 5 minutes. Then we missed one night (Saturday) of doing that with her and we had to start over last night. :-/ But tonight it was only about 10 minutes before she was out.

Our goal in getting her to be able to do this, is so that when N comes home, Maleeya will be able to fall asleep in the room either with N or by herself depending on how N does.

She's growing up so fast! I feel like we're missing out on so much, but I'm thankful for a good daycare. She's such a perfect fit for our family and has been so good for us! Every day we laugh and smile, and it's because of our little monkey. :)
