Very, very sad!!!

My dad told me tonight that a lady in our community passed away. She had a second heart attack and had swelling on her brain and ended up dying.

The tragic and very sad side of this, is that she was only in her 40's and left behind two daughter s, one that is 20 years old (a sophomore in college), the other will be a senior in high school, and a son who will be a sophomore in high school, and a newly adopted 2.5 month old (that they've had since he was 10-days old).

And, this family has already been through soooo much in the last few years. Back when their son was younger (somewhere around 5, I think), he had a twin brother, Dakota, who was killed in a very tragic farming accident, and then the son that is still alive fell out of a second story window last year and was in the hospital for a little while.

I know this family would appreciate your prayers. Their last name is Blanchard. It's going to be very hard for them in the coming months I'm sure.

Also, a few weeks ago, another family from Liberal was killed in a car accident and left behind a 22 year-old son. The dad, mom, and daughter were coming home from church and were hit head-on. The daughter survived the crash, but not sure she ever woke up from the coma. She had a surgery, but to no avail. The son's name is Jameson Toler.

It seems like there are more and more accidents and tragedies these days. Make sure you tell those close to you what they mean to you before they are gone. Don't leave things unsaid because you never know when your last day here on earth is.
