Well, as we start this new adoption, I have to say, it looks impossible. Crazy impossible. But we serve a HUGE God who loves orphans, so I know He will provide! However, I'm not naive enough to think the money will magically appear in our account either. :) That being said, we are going to have to fundraise like ca-razy!
So here are the ideas we have so far:
• Scentsy Fundraiser - going on now!
• Adoption Auction - next month (more on that later, but we'll be asking for donations!)
• Thirty-One Fundraiser - Maybe next month as well, if not March.
• T-shirts - working on a couple of designs now and will post as soon as they're ready to go. We may also work with a company to produce some shirts that won't cost us anything!
• Big ticket auction (iPad, Canon Rebel camera or something along those lines)
Here's what we need: $30,000. On paper, it looks insurmountable. But for the first person who scaled Mt. Kilimanjaro, I'm sure it did, too. But it's been done. I've seen my God provide crazy amounts in a ridiculously short amount of time. But we know we can't do it alone.
