the bug

{I realize I kind of spoke on this in a previous post, but I'll expand on it a bit more}

yep, that's right...I've caught it! the bug...the {adoption} baby bug that is! I'm so ready! ready to start on baby #2! we're talking and praying...and talking some more - which is HUGE because once Taiwan shut down, hubby really didn't even want to think about it anymore. there are a couple specific places in particular that we're thinking about but unsure of exactly where yet. with Little Miss almost 18 months old, I'm excited to get another wee little one into our family.

parenting is hard! I should probably stress, HARD! but it is so worth it. so worth hearing her little laugh, seeing her smile, watching her run to me when I pick her up at the end of the day, holding her, cuddling her, getting her sweet kisses, watching her giggle with Dadda...oh my goodness, the list could go on and on. we've had our share of difficulties, and there have been times I really wondered if one child would be all we could ever handle...but just as soon as I think the storm isn't going to pass, the sun begins to peer through the clouds.

it's been so cute to watch Little Miss with other wee little babies and play with her baby dolls. I know she'll make a wonderful big sister! she's such a BIG help! with another baby on the horizon that has also begun talks of our current housing situation. we're currently in a 2 bedroom/1 bath house. we absolutely LOVE it here! it's a wonderful neighborhood and we've made this house a home, but realistically, we probably need a bit bigger house. we're not sure whether we should add on or begin house-hunting again. my head is already hurting even thinking about the latter...I HATE moving/packing/unpacking. God knows though. He's got the perfect place in mind for us. this house was a HUGE answer to prayer and came along at just the right moment, so I'm going to try and not worry and trust in God and His timing.

Taiwan is still on our hearts and minds, but it seems as though for the moment the door has been shut. we're still praying for the country and for the orphanage and the sweet workers at the orphanage - we'll see what God has in store for our little family! stay tuned! :)
