Mother's Day - although this will not be my first Mother's Day, it will be the first to have a baby "here" and on the way. :) As you may or may not know, hubby and I actually have 2 babies...however, they are waiting for us in heaven. They would be 4 and 2 right now if they were here. I'm not going to say I don't wish they were here with us, but at the same time, the Lord has led us to where are are and I wouldn't change a thing. M&M is a beautiful, unexpected blessing that I wouldn't trade for the world. I'm so incredibly thankful for her and thankful God is giving us a chance to finally be parents. That being said, tomorrow is going to be very special for me. I had hoped she would be here by now, but unfortunately she is not yet, however I will rejoice in the fact that we do have a little girl waiting for us. :) And as hubby said, "maybe she will be here in time for Father's Day." :)
To make the day even more special, in the mail today I got the sweetest card - my first Mother's Day card from my daughter! :) Those at the orphanage were kind enough to create a super sweet card complete with M&M's footprints and handprint. Hubby says she has big feet. :) The card absolutely melted my heart and brought tears to my eyes. :) I LOVED it. :)
Anyway, I hope all you mothers have a wonderful day and your kids, grandkids, spouses, etc. treat you like you're a queen. :)
